From the perspective of those underprivileged who do not have access to clean water
No option but to pour the pale brown liquid down my parched throat,
It looks nothing like that crystal clear one that I see them carry to school and office, all ready in their coats.
There are some tattered leaves and particles swimming in that solution,
Who am I even supposed to complain to, despite they say this is a society of inclusion.
I sit on the roadside, waiting…
Waiting…
Waiting.
There was never much hope, nor is there much support.
The wait shall continue,
Until that one fine day,
When our water too will be like ‘water’
And Not just a solution of mud and chemicals.
