Yiye (Millycent) Yang, Grade 12
UWC Mostar
The bushes of red
Moving along with the flow
Attached to the ocean bed
Breathing in and out, slowly
The green grass tangles
As the colors mingle
Green, yellow, blue
It sticks on and glues
To the peristediidae passing by
Rooted from the darkness
Rising above the light
Swimming in tropical seas
Also named the armored sea robins
Fan-shaped fins, wing-like appearance
They open and close rapidly
Sometimes dive down to depths
Although not venomous
When predator attacks, mild poison injects
