ABOUT

United Worldwide is a global UWC magazine co-founded by Arusha Sahai, at UWCSEA East Campus, Singapore. United Worldwide captures the essence of what it means to be a student of the United World College. Our goal is to share thousands of untold stories that may otherwise never be heard. To be able to "make education a force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future", United Worldwide becomes a unique solution - bringing together UWC students from around the world.

“United Worldwide aims to embrace the UWC mission and core values by truly uniting the UWCs across the globe through an online magazine centred around acknowledging the beauty in our diversity.”

The United World Colleges are genuinely diverse in location, and genuinely diverse in character.  This is a movement wide strength.  Amidst this diversity is a further important but very different strength: that of unity of purpose.  Our students are like-minded young people not only making their way in the world, but also seeking to make the world a better, more peaceful, more sustainable place. Connections such as those created by the new publications therefore provide a mission-aligned service to us all;  they allow us to connect with people at the same stage in life, looking at the same, same issues, in very different contexts.  These connections allow us to deepen our own thinking, and to make a contribution to the thinking of others; and I know many friendships have already been sparked by this project.
Admiration and thanks to Aryan and Arusha, who have led this project from concept to implementation.  There is much to be proud of in these pages.
